Springfield's The Block Party is small, local and scrappy. We welcome inquiries, questions, donations and volunteers, especially if they come bearing donuts.

Where Is The Springfield Block Party?

We cover 10 city blocks (and then some) in the heart of Downtown, Main Street, Springfield.

When Is The Springfield Block Party?

The Party is the Friday after Labor Day in September. In 2026, that day will be the 11th of September.

How Much Does The Block Party Cost?

We need your support to keep The Block Party free. Consider sponsoring or making a donation this year.

Does the City of Springfield produce for this event?


No. We appreciate the confusion, but this event is produced by a local nonprofit charity.

When did the party start?

2019!

We took over in 2022.

2026 will be the 7th annual event.

How Many People Come To The Block Party?

In 2025, we estimate upwards of 15K people attended Lane County's largest free event.

Is The Block Party Kid Friendly?

Our goal is to create memories for Citizens of all ages. The Block Party has lots of fun for kids!

Does The Block Party Have Beer?

Responsible adults are welcome to enjoy beverages within the OLCC zone.

Can I bring my animal?

We don't recommend you bring non-human friends, but if you do, make sure you are responsible for their behavior and poop.

Is there a "Main Stage"?

No.
