Rise & Shine Social Enterprise Supports Sustainability at This Year’s Block Party

Rise & Shine is a caregiving agency centered on helping others live their best life!  Returning as a Premium Sponsor, we are honored to have Rise & Shine support Springfield’s The Block Party in its sustainability goals.

For the second year in a row, The Block Party wi partner with Waste Free Oregon to manage our waste stream at the annual event, ensuring that as much waste gets diverted out of landfills as possible, and our recycling gets collected for return by the Cub Scouts Pack #216 as a fundraiser.

Rise & Shine is a caregiving agency based in Springfield, Oregon supporting adults who experience intellectual developmental disabilities. Emily Westlund says, “We provide services for group homes, supported living, as well as day program services. Our mission is to help others live their best lives, and we believe in raising the standard of group home living by demonstrating a new way of caregiving.”
