Press Release - The Block Party 2026 powered by SELCO

SPRINGFIELD, OR — Springfield's The Block Party is back. Again. For the seventh time. Really, like it just won’t go away because everyone really, really seems to like it.

Community Activation Network (CAN), the 501(c)(3) public charity behind the region's largest free community celebration, announced the return of Springfield's The Block Party, set for Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 4 to 10 p.m. in Historic Downtown Springfield. Admission is free, thanks to over 30 sponsors, including Title Sponsor SELCO Community Credit Union.

Now in its seventh year, The Block Party has grown from a scrappy Main Street experiment into one of Lane County’s most beloved annual traditions, drawing 15,000 neighbors in 2025, generating over 1.33 million impressions for local partners, and cementing itself as the region's destination community building event.

Returning for their second consecutive season as Title Sponsor, Springfield based SELCO continues to invest across Lane County. Building on 90 years of local support, they power The Block Party so residents can celebrate our economic and cultural revitalization in the middle of Main Street.

Joining them for The Block Party 2026 is a group of Springfield neighbors who put their money where their community is, including Super Premium Sponsors Emerald Bath Works Mechanical Bull, Jerry's Home Improvement Center Community Stage, PublicHouse Street Stage and Springfield Drifters Family Sponsor, along with new partners Confident House Cleaning Clean Blocks Program, CLF Network Toddler Zone and Big Prize Wheel, and Ziply Fiber Community Safety Sponsor.

Springfield's The Block Party 2026 features live music, local food, family activities, community organizations, and more, all free, all on Main Street, all very Springfield.
